The 2025 Sao Khue Awards marked a proud moment for both SmartDev and Verysell AI, as the two brands walked away with three prestigious honors that underscored their shared vision for an AI-powered future.

Together, the two brands brought their strengths to the stage — and the results spoke volumes.
At this year’s ceremony, SmartDev received recognition for Best IT Outsourcing Services, reinforcing its position as one of Vietnam’s most reliable development partners. The collaboration between SmartDev and Verysell AI was also highlighted with the award for Best AI Consulting and Solution Development, acknowledging how the partnership combines software engineering excellence with advanced AI expertise to deliver cost-optimized, industry-tailored solutions. To complete the hat-trick, Verysell AI’s flagship innovation, VERA, an AI Agent for Customer Care solution earned honors in the Innovation category.

Established in 2003, the Sao Khue Awards is a highly respected annual recognition program organized by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA), celebrating excellence in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. To be honored with this award, nominated products and solutions must successfully pass a rigorous three-round evaluation process conducted by a panel of 18 industry experts. The assessment covers multiple dimensions, including technical and service criteria such as technological foundation, scalability, innovation, market relevance, and problem-solving effectiveness. It also evaluates the nominee’s business performance, brand credibility, strategic direction, and long-term vision.
Beginning with applications in early March, the journey demanded rigorous presentations before panels of industry experts, detailed demonstrations, and evaluations that tested not only the technical foundations of the solutions but also their innovation, scalability, and market impact. On March 30th, SmartDev’s Marketing Director, Nguyen Ngoc Ha, presented the company’s outsourcing services to the evaluation council, while she and Nguyen Quoc Trung, Chief Operating Officer of Verysell AI, jointly delivered the case for AI consulting and solution development. Later, Nguyen Quoc Trung returned to present VERA before a separate expert panel. Each session demonstrated how the combined power of SmartDev and Verysell AI is reshaping both software and AI adoption.

The awards ceremony, held on April 19th, 2025 at the Military Theatre in Hanoi, gathered more than 700 guests, including government officials, industry leaders, media, and broadcasters. As the spotlight turned to the winners, the leadership of both brands — Shaoyu Wong, CEO of Verysell AI; Nguyen Quoc Trung, COO of Verysell AI; and Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Marketing Director of SmartDev — accepted the honors on behalf of their teams. It was a moment that went beyond recognition, becoming a celebration of collaboration, innovation, and the future of Vietnam’s ICT industry.

In 2024, SmartDev had already secured two Sao Khue awards for its ITO services and the fintech product VeryPay. In 2025, with three awards in hand, the company demonstrates that it is not just adapting to the AI era but leading it. Looking forward, the vision is ambitious. By 2026, SmartDev aims for 90 percent of its engineers to have strong hands-on AI skills, integrating tools like GitHub Copilot and developing tailor-made AI copilots to enhance productivity and security. Verysell AI will continue to lead applied research and product innovation, building intelligent solutions like VERA that empower businesses across BFSI, retail, manufacturing, and beyond. Together, the two brands are not only reshaping their own operations but also helping position Vietnam as a global hub for AI-powered software development.
